Building Robots with 80/20 and Quickframe 80/20, a strong, lightweight aluminum framing system, is based on the principle that from only 20% of the effort, 80% of the results can be achieved. Come to this seminar to find out how you use this extremely versatile material to build sturdy and complex structures using only very simple tools. Robot structures can be built with nothing more than a Drill Press and hand tools. Presenter: Rohan Jhunjhunwala, Catlin Gabel Team 1540 Designer.
LabVIEW Introduction A quick overview of LabVIEW programming for those with no previous experience in the language. This session will focus on fundamentals such as looping, decision making, data types, and user interface design. LabVIEW is a astoundingly powerful graphical programming environment capable of generating all of the code to run your robot. Presenters: Matt Spiegelberg and Minh Tran, National Instruments Field Sales Engineers.
Marketing Your Team How to create a media buzz for your team while gaining mentors and sponsors at school, in your community and in business circles. You will see examples and ideas for contacting different groups as used by team 2550.
